SUMMARY:Common Roots Men's Group
DESCRIPTION:Men need spaces to gather sincerely with other men\, to express the fullness of their experience\, and to witness other men doing the same. Common Roots connects men of the Roaring Fork Valley\, sparks brotherhood and fosters a healthy and mature masculine culture in a world where men often “go it alone.” \nTHIS IS NOT THERAPY. It is a gathering that challenges traditional ideas of support groups through peer empowerment\, deep listening\, and embodiment for strength\, hope and cultural change. \nTHIS MONTH’S THEME: BELONGING\nIn a world where many men feel isolated or disconnected\, the sense of truly belonging can be elusive. We’ll dive into what it means to find and create spaces where we feel understood\, valued\, and accepted. Through open conversation and shared experiences\, we’ll explore the importance of building meaningful connections and fostering a sense of community\, both within ourselves and with others. Join us as we support each other in the journey toward finding our place and strengthening the bonds that make us feel truly at home. \nThere is no charge for this gathering\nSnacks and drinks will be available\nOpen to all who identify as he/him\, age 18+ \n\nREGISTER\n \n\nThank you to Pitkin County Public Health for supporting Common Roots Men’s Group

SUMMARY:Common Roots Men's Group
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER \nMen need spaces to gather sincerely with other men\, to express the fullness of their experience\, and to witness other men doing the same. \nTHIS MONTH’S THEME: WINTERING\n \n\n\n\nAs the season shifts\, nature invites us to turn inward\, offering both an opportunity for renewal and a potential challenge for those facing seasonal struggles. This session will explore ideas on how to “winter well” this year. Just as plants rest and animals hibernate\, we too can embrace the need for rest and restoration. Living in a ski town provides ample chances to get outside\, but it’s equally important to listen to our bodies and give ourselves permission to pause\, relax\, and let go of the pressure to always stay active. Join us for a discussion on cultivating grace\, balance\, and mindful rest during this season of winter.\n\n\n\nThere is no charge for this gathering\nSnacks and drinks will be available\nOpen to all who identify as he/him\, age 18+ \n\nREGISTER \nThank you to Pitkin County Public Health for supporting Common Roots Men’s Group

SUMMARY:Giving Tuesday
DESCRIPTION:DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT! \nQuality mental health support should be available to everyone\, regardless of their income. HeadQuarters provides therapy assistance through the Mental Health Fund for those who can’t afford it. We provide affordable life and health coaching\, free workshops\, and peer support groups. We also help people connect with the right support at the right time. \nTogether\, we’re breaking down barriers to provide affordable\, accessible mental health resources to those who need them most\, fostering a healthier\, more connected community. \nResearch shows that preventative mental health programs can reduce crises by up to 50%. However\, in our community\, crisis intervention receives 14 times more funding than prevention—a costly imbalance in every way. Waiting until someone is in crisis leads to much higher financial and social costs. Emergency care\, hospitalization\, and intensive therapy are far more resource-intensive than early prevention. Investing in prevention saves lives and is more cost-effective for our community. \nAs we look to the year ahead\, your support will empower us to make a greater impact\, expand our reach\, and continue to grow our Mental Fitness preventative programming. \nYour support can make a big difference—please make a donation today! \nCLICK HERE TO DONATE TODAY!\nThe funding that I received through HeadQuarters changed my life. I was going through a very hard time…my therapist gave me the tools I needed to overcome my past trauma and move forward to a happy and productive life. I reconnected with friends and family and gained the support and confidence in myself that I had lost. I am eternally grateful for the support! \nKelly S.\, Aspen CO\, Mental Health Fund Recipient \nHeadQuarters is a vital community resource.
