Description

Tyler Stableford is a Carbondale-based licensed professional counselor candidate who incorporates the latest evidence-based practices in trauma therapy, mindfulness, executive functioning, and holistic healing in his work. Tyler specializes in trauma resolution, grief and loss, addiction, relationships, chronic illness, psychedelic integration and spiritual emergence, among other offerings. Above all, Tyler's goal is to help clients not just get better, but importantly to help them achieve the life of their dreams.

Tyler holds a certificate in the trauma-focused Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR) and has completed Level 2 trainings in the groundbreaking Internal Family Systems therapy. Additionally, Tyler has completed level 2 trainings in ketamine and psychedelic medicine therapy with the Psychedelic Research and Training Institute for both individual and group facilitation. He has also completed two executive coaching trainings with the Conscious Leadership Group.

Tyler holds a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Texas Tech University's Midwestern State Campus and holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Dartmouth College. He has worked at Jaywalker Lodge addiction recovery center, Mind Springs, and Stepping Stones of the Roaring Fork Valley in adolescent community mental health.

Tyler has served for four years as a Court Appointed Special Advocate For Children (CASA) volunteer for abused and neglected children in Colorado’s 9th judicial district.
