Hi, I'm Erik (he/him)!
I'm a Licensed Professional Counseling Candidate (LPCC) in Carbondale. I work as a counselor because I love helping people find what they are looking for in life. Whether that's healing, personal growth, self-knowledge, stronger relationships, or basic emotional regulation skills, I'm trained to help you figure out a more authentic and fulfilling way of being in this world.
I believe that pain, struggles, and confusion are all unavoidable parts of life. The good news is you have the power to choose how you respond to all that adversity. Will you let those challenges define you in a negative way, or do you want to learn to navigate them with fortitude, flexibility, and resilience? My passion lies in helping you embrace life's complexities and find authentic and effective ways to dance with them.
I pride myself on seeing the inherent goodness, wholeness, and wisdom in everyone I work with. I have an MA in mental health counseling and I'm trained in mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and grief and loss counseling. I work primarily with men, adolescents, young adults, and parents. I'm a husband, father of two young kiddos, and a longtime Roaring Fork Valley local.
