Aspen Chapel is launching a free ‘Sacred Cinema’ series running through October and November. Starting on Thursday October 10 th with Peter Brook’s on the life of Gurdjieff ‘Meetings with Remarkable men’, ‘Sacred Cinema’ will show 4 films on their big screen.
Doors will open at 6.15pm. There will be refreshments and a discussion about the film.
“Our aim is to get people talking” said Nicholas Vesey, Minister of the Aspen Chapel who is curating the series. “Too often in the valley things are expensive, and we wanted to provide a chance for our community to get together and look at some really interesting films”.

In future weeks they will be showing “Holy Smoke (adults only) Oct 24 th , Seven Years in Tibet Nov 7 th and The Razor’s Edge Nov 21 st . The series is presents in conjunction with The Journal of Religion and Film Nebraska, Omaha.
