I strongly believe in the power and importance of the therapeutic relationship between me and my clients. There is nothing more important to me than building trust and safety so that you feel comfortable opening up about what is happening in your life. I am very laid back and use an informal style that feels much more collaborative than authoritative. I am on the journey with you! I have worked at Light of the Rockies in Fort Collins, Vail Relationship Institute in the Vail Valley, and Trailhead Christian Counseling in the Roaring Fork Valley helping people with depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, marital challenges, relational challenges, and the normal struggles of everyday life. I have personally battled with depression and anxiety. It was not just a matter of thinking "better thoughts". There were also some biological and genetic components that needed healed. I look at a person through the lens of biological (brain chemistry), psychological (our thoughts and feelings), social (our relationships), and spiritual (if applicable).
