Dr. Heather Kaplinski is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Aspen, Colorado. She earned an undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University, a master’s degree in psychology from New York University, and a doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Denver. She received a certificate in Public Health Sciences from University of Colorado Health Sciences Center’s MPH Program. She completed a clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Washington School of Medicine and Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Kaplinski is a member of the American Psychological Association and affiliate, Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology. She is a licensed psychologist in Colorado and a member of the Colorado Psychological Association.
Dr. Kaplinski has completed advanced training in the well-researched and widely disseminated approach to relationship improvement—Prevention and Relationship Education Program (PREP). She utilizes components of PREP in couple therapy and teaches skills-based weekend couples workshops. Dr. Kaplinski is a trained leader in the international Stephen Ministry program, and she directs, trains, and supervises a peer-to-peer support program in the community.
