Dr. Krista Swanson

Description

There’s no greater freedom than living from your true self, a self authentically and lovingly connected to others. It’s how we are built. It’s how our children are built. Balancing life while pursuing life's dreams is tough. It takes work to integrate it all, but it's so worth it.

I focus on life transitions, losses and relationships at all ages and stages. I specialize in treating the interpersonal and brain-body impacts of: trauma, toxic stress, anxiety, depression; difficulties around the birth of a child; disorders/delays in early development and attachment; executive functioning; regulating attention, emotion, behavior, impulse, sleep, eating; the challenges/the violence that women/girls face; having/having had substance abuse/abandonment/narcissism/neglect/abuse in the family.
