I am a strength-based, solution-focused therapist with a practical and supportive approach. I provide an empathetic compassionate space where clients can freely express themselves and get feedback without judgement. I enjoy working with individuals to reach personal goals, reduce stress, stabilize mood symptoms, and increase overall functioning in all aspects of life. I work with families and couples to improve their relationships and address issues such as communication, intimacy, trust, and conflict resolution. I look forward to working with you to live your best life.
I received my M.S. in Counseling from San Diego State University in 1999 and received my B.A. from University of San Diego in 1994. I have been in private practice for 13 years and have worked with a variety of diverse clients.
Prior to private practice, my experience also includes working in in-home services with high risk families as well as with chronically mentally ill adults in a crisis house setting. In addition, I have worked in a day treatment and outpatient setting with adolescent sex offenders and sexually reactive children.
