William James, known as “The father of American Psychology,” once said, “The great thing then, in all education, is to make your nervous system your ally rather than your enemy.” All forms of health and wellness connect to this idea in one way or another.
The Big Five: One-On-One Coaching
How to optimize nervous system function via the science of sleep, exercise, nutrition, stress management, and social connection.
This workshop delves into the neurobiology underpinning the five fundamental aspects of Mental Fitness. We’ll embark on an in-depth exploration of the brain’s science, examining how the content stored within our brains, along with our intentional or unintentional practices, affects us and our bodies as a whole. You’ll discover minor adjustments that can enable your brain to work in your favor, thereby enhancing your Mental Fitness.
What is one-on-one coaching and what does this MFIT Session entail?
In this special session, you will have the opportunity to work with a credentialed professional. We will begin with a group discussion about the material covered in the month’s first session. You will then participate in an activity designed to help you set a goal and focus on a habit change you wish to address over the next month. Following this, you will have dedicated one-on-one time with Parker Kennedy to ensure your goal is realistic, purposeful, and practical. Parker will assist you in finding the tools and resources necessary to achieve your goal.
Space is limited to 5 people, if you are unable to register email lindsey@headq.org
