The PEER Movement: Exploring Different Modalities of PEER Support

October 13, 2022 @ 8:00 am - 12:30 pm

A Lunch & Learn Panel Discussion

Panel discussion will explore what a peer coach is and ways to engage peer support in the addictions and co-occurring disorders profession.

About this event

This panel will explore what a peer coach is and how peer recovery support is being utilized currently in the field. We will also look at the different modalities of peer support and explain more effective ways to utilize this workforce in treatment settings as we move into the future. Panelists include individuals who operate in both the clinical and peer systems and have deep insight into the need for these two areas to collaborate more directly.
