Building Community, Connection, And Belonging For Women In The Roaring Fork Valley

CONVERSATION OF THE MONTH: AGING

What if growing older wasn’t something to resist—but something to honor with grace and intention?

From our 20s through every decade beyond, we’re surrounded by messages telling us how we should look, feel, and be. Social media can sometimes set impossible standards. Shelves are lined with products promising to turn back time. And with the natural evolution of our bodies and minds, the pressure to have it all figured out by a certain age can leave us quietly questioning: Am I doing this right? Shouldn’t I be further along by now?

In this month’s Common Roots, we’re holding space for honest conversation about the pressure to look, feel, and be our best at every stage of life. We’ll explore how to navigate these expectations with more grace, how to support our wellbeing with intention, and how to redefine aging—not as a loss, but as a deepening of strength, wisdom, and self-love.

Rooted in Mental Fitness tools and practices, this gathering is for any woman who wants to feel more at home in her body and her life—whether you’re 25 or 65.
