I’m writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for the recent Elevate HR workshop featuring Angilina Taylor, HeadQuarters’ executive director, who presented on “Mental Fitness in Leadership: A Cultural Shift.” This workshop was nothing short of transformative for our local, professional HR community.

Angilina brought an incredible depth of knowledge and energy to the workshop, engaging our members with actionable insights into how local HR leaders can foster resilience, emotional agility, and pro-active well-being strategies.

As local HR professionals, we often find ourselves navigating the complex interplay between organizational needs and employee well-being; taking direction from leadership to keep our overall benefit costs down while ensuring the best possible health coverage for our employees.

As the largest regional EAP provider was absorbed by a national organization a couple of years ago who is unwilling to pay local counselors and coaches a reasonable reimbursement rate, it is heart-warming to know that local employers can and should utilize HeadQuarters as a local Mental Fitness Support Program that empowers employers to prioritize employee wellness effectively.

Our community is so blessed to have Angilina at the helm of HeadQuarters; her vision for a mentally healthier community is coming to fruition.

I encourage all local HR professionals to join Elevate HR and all local leaders to explore partnering with HeadQuarters — it’s an investment in a healthier, more productive, and resilient community. Your employees, and your organization, will thank you for it.
